What’s the Best Used GPU Under $100 for a Ryzen 7 2700X?

I recently got a Ryzen 7 2700X from a friend and I'm trying to find a good used graphics card to pair it with. The 3060 that my friend had experienced stutters when used with this CPU, so I want to avoid anything that might bottleneck the performance. I'm not into playing the latest games with all the bells and whistles—just looking for something that can run games like Ghost of Tsushima, Forza Horizon, or Lego Star Wars smoothly. Plus, I'm not planning on upgrading this setup for a few years before I build a new PC. So, would a 5700XT, 6500, 1660, or 580 be my best bet? I'd appreciate any recommendations!

A worse GPU will mean lower performance, but capping the FPS on the 3060 could work for now. If you’re thinking about future upgrades, consider getting a Ryzen 5600.

Just to clarify, the 3060 isn’t mine; I got the CPU and other components from my friend. I'm solely looking for a GPU.

I’d go for the RX 5700 XT if you can find one. It offers solid performance for the price. Here's a benchmark video you might want to check out: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=68_lNxDKUeQ](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=68_lNxDKUeQ)

If you can find an 8GB RX 580 for around $100, that could work well. A 570 with 4GB is also a viable option if the 580 isn't available. Just make sure you're shopping for used cards; the prices can vary a lot.

Thanks for the tip! I think I can grab one for about $50.

If your friend had stutters with a 3060, a lesser card probably won't perform any better since it sounds like the issue is more related to the CPU or RAM. Honestly, you might be better off spending that $100 on a Ryzen 5600 for better overall performance.

Just to clarify, the 3060 belongs to my friend. I'm looking for budget-friendly suggestions for a GPU to complete my build.

Keep an eye out for a used RX 6500 XT if you can find a decent deal! It's not the strongest option for 1080p gaming, but you'll really benefit from AMD's FidelityFX and Frame Generation features. You can check its benchmarks here: https://youtu.be/e0JefZtw8bg?si=7B05LHByTco1k4B0

Thanks, I'll definitely look for one!
