Mouse Issues After Installing Windows 11

Hey everyone! I recently installed Windows 11 on a rather old HP mini PC, but I'm running into a strange problem with the mouse. At first, it works perfectly, but then it stops registering clicks on both the left and right buttons. I tried using a different mouse, but the problem continues. Oddly, when I press CNTL + Alt + Del, it seems to refresh the mouse and allows me to click for a few moments. Any advice on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated!

This sounds like it could be a driver issue. Have you checked if there are any updates available for your mouse drivers? Sometimes compatibility problems arise after an OS upgrade like this. A quick visit to your device manager should help you find any missing or outdated drivers.

When dealing with older PCs, you often encounter unexpected surprises! What model do you have, by the way? Knowing the exact model can help in finding the right support and solutions. Usually, it's printed on a sticker somewhere.

Just a heads up: making changes to the BIOS or disk settings can have some risks, including potential data loss. It's wise to ensure you have your data backed up before making any significant changes! If the problem persists, consider checking out support threads related to your model.
