Hey everyone! I think I messed up while upgrading my RAM and now my PC won't turn on. I'm using a Gigabyte B660M AORUS Pro AX motherboard and had 2x8GB Silicone Power XPOWER RAM sticks. I tried to add an additional 8GB Kingston HyperX Fury stick, but I may have forgotten to secure the clasp on the new RAM after installing it. Now, when I try starting my PC, nothing happens – no fan spins, no lights on the GPU, and nothing on the screen. The only thing that happens is I see a single flash from the motherboard when I turn on the power supply. I've done a bunch of troubleshooting already: removed all peripherals, tried a different wall outlet, reinstalled the RAM (including combos of the old sticks), and even tested different slots. Nothing seems to work. Can anyone tell me if I might have damaged my motherboard? Also, I noticed that when plugged in, my phone charges when I connect it to the back I/O panel – does that mean the motherboard is still somewhat functional? How can I figure out if I need a new motherboard or if the problem lies somewhere else? Thanks a ton!

Have you checked if your power button is connected right? Sometimes the connection gets loose and that can prevent your system from booting. You might also wanna try swapping it with the reset button, just to rule that out.
I remember the power button was working fine before, but I did reconnect all the wires. I can't tell which one is for the power button specifically, but what would swapping it do?
