Advice Needed for a Budget GPU for 4K Video Editing

Hey folks, I've recently upgraded to 4K video editing, but my current GPU, a Quadro P600 with only 2GB VRAM, is really struggling. I can't export anything without running into issues, and playback is super laggy. My budget is quite tight right now, and I'm looking for some temporary, used options. I've seen that even used RTX 3060 cards with 12GB are too pricey for me. I noticed that the GeForce GTX 1660 with 6GB is much more affordable. Do you think it could handle exporting a 4K timeline without effects? Are there any other budget-friendly alternatives you'd suggest?

You might want to consider a used RX 580 or a GTX 1080 if they’re available in your area. Just out of curiosity, where are you located?

What's your exact budget? That’ll help narrow it down. Are you having issues with your 4K timeline? If so, have you tried using proxies to lighten the load? Also, when you try to export, is the program crashing completely or does it just take forever?

My budget is between $100 and $150. Yes, the timeline is causing issues and I'm getting export errors that lead to crashes. I'll definitely give proxies a shot. Thanks for your advice!
