What to Do If My PC Won’t Turn On After a RAM Upgrade?

Hey everyone! I'm in a bit of a bind. I recently tried upgrading my RAM on my Gigabyte B660M AORUS Pro AX motherboard. I initially had 2x8GB Silicone Power XPOWER sticks, and I added a third 8GB Kingston HyperX Fury stick. I think I might have turned on the PC without properly securing the new RAM stick in place. Now, my computer won't power on at all—no fan spins, the GPU lights are off, and there's nothing on the screen. The only sign of life is a single flash from the motherboard when I kick on the PSU.

I've already tried a bunch of things to troubleshoot:
1. Removed all peripherals.
2. Tried different power outlets.
3. Reseated all three RAM sticks, making sure everything was locked in place.
4. Went back to just the original RAM sticks.
5. Attempted to boot with just one stick in each of the four slots.

Nothing seems to work! And just a side note: when the PC is plugged in, I can charge my phone via the I/O panel. Does that mean the motherboard is still functional? How can I figure out if I've fried my motherboard or if there's another issue? Any help would be super appreciated! Thanks!

Have you checked if your power button is connected properly? Sometimes a loose connection can cause this kind of issue. You might even want to try swapping it with the reset button temporarily to see if that helps. It's a long shot but worth checking!

The power button was working fine before, but I went ahead and reconnected all the cables. I can't pinpoint which wire is for the power button specifically, so I haven't swapped it out yet. But I'm curious—what would that do if I did?
