How Can Users Sync Yahoo Email and Contacts Across Devices?

I'm trying to help some users who want to access their Yahoo email across multiple devices—like their iPhone, iPad, laptops, and desktops. They each have separate Yahoo accounts, but they want to be able to view and share the same two contact lists on all their devices. However, they're encountering a problem where the same account shows different numbers of unread messages on different devices. For instance, Jane's email shows 432 new messages on her iPad but 500 on her desktop. What's the best way for them to achieve seamless access to their contacts and resolve the syncing issues? Additionally, can all these devices be switched to using IMAP instead of POP3 for better synchronization?

I recommend using an email client like Outlook on all their devices. When you set up both user accounts on Outlook across devices, it’ll keep everything synchronized perfectly. I've done this myself with Outlook on my desktop and mobile devices, and it works really well for different email accounts, including Yahoo.

So just install Outlook on everything and log into both Yahoo accounts? Or should they each have their dedicated devices? I was thinking they could log into both accounts and switch between them easily without having to enter passwords constantly. Is that too complicated?
