Why is my phone suddenly restarting when using Reddit?

I'm experiencing some issues with my iPhone 13. It randomly restarted while I had Reddit running in the background and was browsing Google. I've noticed that my phone tends to get choppy when I'm scrolling through a lot of videos and gifs on Reddit, to the point where the app sometimes crashes on its own. When the restart happened, I was not playing anything on Reddit, and I just saw a black screen with that spinning loading icon. All of my apps were still open when it restarted, and I didn't notice any changes. Can someone explain why this is happening? I'm really worried and would appreciate any help!

It sounds like you may be experiencing performance issues with your iPhone 13, which can lead to random restarts, especially when running resource-heavy apps like Reddit. A couple of things you might try include clearing the cache of apps, updating your iOS, or even resetting settings if the problem persists. Also, keeping too many apps open can strain performance, so consider closing the ones you're not using.

Definitely check for updates! Sometimes, software bugs can cause instability, and Apple often releases fixes for such issues.

Don't panic! Random restarts can happen occasionally, especially if an app is causing the system to overload. Check if any app needs an update, and if the issue continues, you might want to consult with Apple support or do a full backup and restore your device just to clear any potential glitches.

Yeah, I had a similar issue before, and a quick restore fixed it for me. Make sure to back up your stuff first!
