I'm looking for some advice on which graphics card to choose for my sim racing setup. Currently, I'm using a triple monitor setup at 1440p and typically get around 65-90 FPS at high to ultra settings, but some newer games are dipping below 60 FPS on high. I'm thinking of upgrading my GPU to improve performance. My current specs are an HP Omen 45L with a Ryzen 7 5700X3D, RTX 3090, and 32 GB of RAM. After selling my 3090 (approximately $800), I'm considering a few options: a used 4080 Super for about $1000, a new 5070 Ti for about $910, or a new RX 9070 XT for around $660. I've read that the AMD might offer the best value for money since I haven't used AMD cards before. What do you guys think?

It really depends on your specific games and what settings you prefer. That will affect performance a lot, especially for sim racing. Dive into the details of each game to see how they perform with these cards before making a decision!
From what I've seen, the RX 9070 XT gives the best raw FPS for the price. However, if you want something with better upscaling options and ray tracing capability, the 5070 Ti could be worth considering. Just make sure to buy new for that warranty since you're spending a good amount.
You might actually be able to get more than $800 for that 3090. It's a sought-after card for AI work, so looking into that could help you finance a better upgrade. Plus, the 9070 XT provides decent performance with a good price, but make sure the games you play can take advantage of its features without DLSS or FSR.

Exactly! If you're getting a 25% performance boost and making a profit while selling the 3090, that sounds like a win-win to me. Just check the specs of the games you’re into.
