I'm wrapping up my PC build and I'm looking for DDR5 RAM with a speed of 6000 MHz. However, I really don't want to spend around $500 on it. Any suggestions on where to find a good deal?

I found a deal on Newegg where they're selling a 32GB kit of this RAM, but it’s priced at $530. The kicker is that it comes with a free 2TB NVMe SSD, which might be a decent value if you need that too.

You’re not going to find a good price right now. The RAM shortage is real, all thanks to demand from AI data centers. It might be a while before things stabilize, so if you can, buy what you can find for now, especially if you’re looking for dual stick setups.

Yeah, I’ve heard the same. It’s frustrating to wait, but at least if you can get something decent now, you can upgrade later when prices come down.

Honestly, right now the prices are pretty steep because of high demand and low supply. You might want to wait a year or two; prices could drop to $300 or $400 if DDR6 comes out and things settle down a bit.

If you're really in a pinch, look on Facebook Marketplace. Sometimes you can snag a good deal from someone who isn't too savvy about prices. Otherwise, good luck! The 6000 MT/s CL30 RAM is one of the priciest types out there right now.
