I've had my pre-built PC for 5 years now, and I think it's time for an upgrade. Here are the specs: Ryzen 5 3600x, Nvidia 2060, B450 motherboard, 64 GB DDR4, and multiple SSDs. I'm currently using a 1080p ultrawide monitor, but I'm planning to set up a sim racing rig with triple screens and eventually aim for 1440p (ultrawide with two 27-inch screens). My CPU is running at 50-70% utilization, but I've never seen my GPU go above 20% while gaming (playing Arc Raiders). I'm considering a CPU upgrade first, but I also want to know if my GPU is sufficient for 1080p gaming. Plus, my power supply is a 600W Thermaltake, which I hear needs replacing regardless. What should I focus on buying given the current market?

I’d recommend looking into getting a 5800 XT and make sure to update the BIOS before installing it. You might also want to upgrade your power supply to a good 850W model like the Montech Century to support everything well. That should really help with performance!
For a good balance between performance and cost, I think a Ryzen 5700X would be the best CPU upgrade on AM4. Pair it with something like a 7600 XT or a 5060 Ti with 16GB variants, and you’d be fine for 1440p. If you're feeling a little more generous with your budget, consider the 7700 XT or 5070 Ti for better performance.
Would it be worth it to upgrade the motherboard, or should I keep the existing one to maintain my DDR4 RAM?

Thanks! Is updating the BIOS straightforward? I’m not super experienced with the software side of things.
