I've been experiencing frequent random freezes on my laptop today, where it will freeze for a moment and then unfreeze again. This occurs even while playing offline games and when I'm just working. It's becoming incredibly frustrating. Has anyone else faced this issue and found a solution? I'm using an HP Victus.

I had a similar problem with my laptop too! After checking the task manager, I noticed a sudden dip in the graphics card performance whenever the freezing occurred. It could be a Windows issue. By the way, I wouldn't recommend resetting your laptop—did that, and it didn't help. But recently, I restarted my system after an update and haven’t had freezes in almost 20 minutes! So, maybe give your system a check for updates.

It could be another process hogging resources or causing temporary blocks. I suggest downloading Process Explorer from Microsoft Sysinternals. Let it run in the background while you use your laptop. When you notice a freeze, quickly switch to it and see what processes are active. Look for spikes in the CPU usage during those moments. It might help identify the culprit.
