We're looking to upgrade some outdated printers that have been in service for over a decade – mostly older Bizhub models. They're starting to fail us with maintenance requests piling up and lacking features like secure scan-to-email. I'd love some recommendations on printer brands or models that are reliable and manageable, especially since we operate with a Windows print server across multiple sites and have about 10 printers that need replacing. Any suggestions?

I'm all about Kyocera! We're using them with Papercut Hive for print management, and it's been a solid setup. They’re reliable and easy to maintain, plus the print quality is great.
I'm a fan of Canon printers, especially the MFPs. They’re built tough and don’t give you much trouble. You might pay a bit more, but you get what you pay for in reliability and low maintenance.
For smaller setups, I've been moving toward Brother printers. They’re much more cost-effective than HP and perform well. I used to prefer HP, but their recent driver issues have steered me away.
Same here! I've found Brother to be a great choice for keeping costs down.
Ricoh printers have served us well, especially with managed print services. It takes a lot of the headaches away, making it predictable cost-wise, plus they work well with PowerShell for bulk management tasks. Just keep in mind service can sometimes be a hassle.
Yeah, I feel you on service sometimes being an issue, but overall, they just get the job done!
Ricoh and Papercut MF combo is also great for cloud printing! You should definitely take a look.
I've had a great experience with Xerox printers. We switched to them last year and haven't looked back! The network settings are super easy to manage, and they all use the same PCL6 driver, which simplifies deployment. Plus, the remote access feature to the display is fantastic for troubleshooting.

Totally agree! Kyocera and Papercut work like a dream together.
