I've been using my PC for about six years, and while it's served me well, I'm noticing it's become quite slow, especially during boot-up and when launching games. With tax season approaching, I have a little extra cash to make some upgrades. I'm really not knowledgeable about specs or what my PC might need, so I'd love any suggestions to improve my loading times. Here's the parts list of my current build: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/h3C9mg.

One thing to consider is how full your drive is. If you're using an SSD, it can start to slow down once it gets more than 50% full, and the performance really drops after 75%. Upgrading to a larger SSD could definitely help with those loading times!
Honestly, 500GB is pretty tight, especially if that's where your OS and games are stored. Besides getting a bigger SSD, think about upgrading your CPU as well. I recently bought a Ryzen 5700X for a steal, and it made a noticeable difference in performance!

That's a good point! I also wanted to mention that I have a 2TB hard drive installed too, but I see why a bigger SSD could still be useful.
