I'm looking for examples of top-notch websites that demonstrate outstanding user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design, particularly those that are super clear and perform well. My client in the UK is planning to create an informational site, resembling a knowledge hub or documentation platform, and they are considering not using any JavaScript at all. So far, I have noted gov.uk for performance and security, and mozilla.org as well. I'm struggling to find a site with really clear UX. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Gov.uk is fantastic for accessibility! I once got trained by the lead on their redesign, and the effort that went into making it useful for everyone is truly impressive. They really think through every detail to ensure usability for all users.

Wow, that’s amazing you were trained by someone from that project! Gov.uk really sets the bar high for usability across the board. The focus on details like button contrast and form labels is something many agencies overlook.

Gov.uk is the gold standard for UX. It's simple, clear, and highly readable, making it accessible for everyone. If you're looking for a parallel, check out many US state websites or Japanese government pages to see just how effective a clean design can be. However, UI design is another story—it often competes with UX. For a nice balance of both, take a look at apple.com; it’s visually appealing but remember, the intent behind usability changes based on what the user is there to do. Utility and accessibility should always come first!
