Why is my HDD showing 100% active time suddenly?

I recently replaced my SSD, and everything was working great. But today, my HDD started acting weird. Whenever I open any software that's stored on the HDD, the active time shoots up to 100% and then immediately drops to 0%, almost like nothing happened. I checked CrystalDiskInfo, and it claims my D Drive is perfectly fine with all indicators showing blue—no issues reported there. Can someone help me figure out what's going on? Here are my specs: Ryzen 5 5600, RX 580, 32GB RAM, 256GB SSD, and a 1TB Seagate Barracuda HDD that I'm having problems with.

It sounds like your system could be struggling with resource management. When the system runs low on RAM, it starts using the HDD for extra space, which could lead to those 100% active time spikes you're seeing. Just make sure your RAM isn't maxed out when you're trying to run your programs.

I initially thought it might be the RAM issue too, but considering I have 32GB, I doubt that's the problem. Maybe my HDD is just on its way out?
