I had a laugh back in 2016 when I got my first iPhone as a teenager and named myself 'Cortex Jortlethorp.' It was just a joke at the time, but now that I'm 26, it's become a bit of an embarrassment. Recently, whenever someone texts me, it prompts them to change my contact name to that silly name, which has never happened before. I've already switched to my real name on my iOS account, but this glitch is still popping up. I really don't know how to fix this! Can anyone help me get rid of this embarrassing name once and for all?

Sounds like everyone thinks you’re some kind of evil hacker now, lol! But seriously, have you checked your contact labeled 'Me'? Sometimes that's where those names come from.
Just ask a chatbot for help! But be careful or it might just call you Cortex Jortlethorp forever and then you’re really stuck!

I went through something similar with my wife who had 'me' as her name. All her packages would address her as 'me me'! Have you checked your Apple ID online? It’s worth a try! You might also want to look into the settings where you can adjust your personal information.
Yeah, it actually says my real name! So I guess it’s official; I’m doomed to be Cortex Jortlethorp forever.
