Is My Computer Okay After Interrupting a System Restore?

I interrupted a system restore after waiting six hours because it was taking way too long. The message said nothing had changed with my computer's files or settings, but I just want to confirm with you all if everything is alright. I can still access my files, but they seem to take a bit longer to open.

If your system boots up fine, everything should be okay. But there is a small risk of file corruption from interrupting the restore. I recommend running `sfc /scannow` in the Command Prompt as an administrator to check and repair any potentially corrupted files. If your PC won't boot, try a force shutdown by holding the power button for about 10 seconds and then restart, or see if you can use an earlier restore point.

Is there still a chance my files could be corrupted after all that?

There could be a slight risk, but running the scan should help identify any issues.

It's likely fine. Just a reminder for next time, it's always best to back up your data before starting a system restore like that.
