Why is my new PC slower than my old one after upgrading to Windows 11?

I just got a new PC, and I was super excited about the upgrade from my old one. However, after upgrading from Windows 10 to Windows 11, I've noticed some serious performance issues. First off, there's a noticeable delay when opening apps, and it sometimes crashes unexpectedly. For instance, when I disconnected the Wi-Fi, the PC crashed for like 5-10 seconds. I'm also trying to install GTA 5, and after an hour, I've only downloaded 60%—my old PC could do it in about 45 minutes. Lastly, I had trouble getting online after installing Windows; I struggled for an hour before finding a way to connect to the internet. I'm not sure why this is happening, but I suspect it might be related to the OS. Any advice would be appreciated!

Your PC might be downloading updates in the background. It's worth checking and making sure Windows isn't still running updates, which can really slow things down.

Have you checked your specs? It's important to know whether you installed Windows on an HDD or SSD since that affects load times. Also, consider updating your Wi-Fi drivers if you haven't already.

Make sure your hardware drivers are up-to-date. You could also try using tools like HWInfo or just running 'dxdiag' in Windows to gather more info about your system without installing anything extra.

Thanks for the tips! I'll check my drivers and try 'dxdiag' to see what's going on.
