I've got an Asus laptop that's running Windows 11, and I've had it for just over a year. I left it alone for a couple of hours, and when I returned, the screen was black and the device was totally unresponsive. I've tried pressing the power button for 30 to 60 seconds with no luck, even when it's plugged in. Any advice on how to get it working again?

It might not be a quick fix, but have you tried unplugging the laptop, removing the battery, and holding down the power button for about 30 seconds? After that, plug it back in (without the battery) and see if it powers on again. It doesn’t always solve the problem, but it can work!
Yeah, just make sure you also unplug the CMOS battery if your model has one. Discharging power might reset the BIOS to default settings, right?
If your laptop isn’t turning on at all, it’s usually more about power issues or hardware than Windows itself. Here’s something you can try:
1. Do a hard reset: Unplug the charger, hold the power button for 60 seconds, plug the charger back in, and see if that helps.
2. Check for any signs of life, like whether the charging light is on or off, or if you see backlighting on the keyboard or hear any fan noises.
3. Try a different power source: Plug it into another outlet or use a different charger if you have one available.
4. Let it sit unplugged for 10 to 15 minutes before trying the reset again.
If none of this works, it might be a bad charger or an issue with the battery or motherboard. Given that it shut down after being left on, it could be a thermal issue. If it's under warranty, contacting ASUS support for repairs might be the way to go!

I can't remove the internal battery, and I'm kind of hesitant to mess with it.
