I'm trying to install Pop!_OS on my new laptop, but the main drive isn't showing up during the installation process. I've checked the BIOS settings, and it confirms the drive is online. Does anyone know what might be causing this problem?

Have you tried typing 'sudo fdisk -l' in the terminal? It might give you a clearer picture of what’s being detected. Sometimes it only picks up the USB drive. Give that a shot and see what it reports.
It sounds like you might be using RAID mode instead of AHCI. If the OS isn't aware it's in RAID, it might not detect the drive properly. Try checking your BIOS settings and switching to AHCI if possible. Also, running the command 'lsblk' could help to see if the drive shows up there. Let us know what you find!
Another thing you can check is if the drive is connected properly. Sometimes, physical connection issues can lead to it not being noticed by the system. If you’re comfortable, you could try reseating the drive and then check again.

I ran 'lsblk' and unfortunately, the drive isn’t showing up there either.
