I'm looking to upgrade my PC with a newer graphics card that won't break the bank. Ideally, I want to play games at 1080p with a high refresh rate (144+ fps) and I'm okay with lowering some settings to achieve that. My CPU is an Intel i9 10900k, so it should handle high performance. I'm exploring both new and used options, aiming for a budget of around $250-350. I've been considering cards like the Nvidia RTX 2080 Ti, 3070/3070 Ti, and the 5060 Ti 8GB along with AMD's RX 6800, 7700 XT, and 9060 XT 8GB. I'm unsure if I'm looking in the right direction or if there are better options. Any advice?

For your budget, I'd highly recommend either the AMD RX 6800 or the Nvidia RTX 3080. Both are excellent for 1080p and even 1440p gaming, and with your Intel i9, you'll easily hit those high frame rates. The 9060 might be nice for its current-gen performance, but I'm not sure if you’ll find it under $350 now. You might want to shop around for a good deal on a used unit!

I feel you! The price of the 9060 has shot up recently. Just a few months ago, you could snag it for about $300. But now it’s edging closer to $370. A solid 3080 is worth considering, but just keep an eye on the power requirements; they do consume a lot of juice!
