I'm having a tough time with my fiancé's PC that was shipped to us a while ago. It's been experiencing graphics card problems, and I thought it might be some minor driver issues. However, I recently discovered that the cooler for the GPU, which is a GeForce GTX 1660 Super (single fan), is completely missing. I searched for a replacement and found an MSI cooler that seemed compatible (DC 12V, 95mm, 4-pin), but the casing doesn't fit properly due to the mounting brackets being too short. I managed to get it installed and thermal pasted, but when I hooked everything back up, the fan blades still aren't spinning. I even tried using MSI Afterburner to force them to run. Am I missing something?

You really should reach out to customer service where you got that GPU. It's not right that they sent it without a cooler in the first place. A decent card shouldn’t be shipped like that!
Could you post a picture of the card? Without a cooler, the GPU can't run anything without overheating; it should be thermal throttling just sitting on the desktop.
What do you mean it had no cooler? Did it snap off during shipping? That sounds rough! If it was damaged that badly, you might want to consider replacing the card entirely.
It's tough to say exactly what's going on, but if the cooler got damaged in transit, there could be other issues as well. Replacing the fan is definitely worth considering if you want things to run smoothly.

I can't, it was from over a year ago and the seller is no longer around.
