I recently upgraded to Windows 11 because support for Windows 10 is ending. Before the upgrade, I was able to get around 120 FPS on Dota 2, but now I'm seeing only 38 to 56 FPS at most. My PC specs are: Ryzen 5600x, 16 GB RAM, Nvidia 4070 Ti, and a 1 TB SSD. It's frustrating because I can run other games like Spider-Man 2, Street Fighter 6, and Battlefield 1 without any issues. I've updated all my drivers, including the Nvidia ones, and tried tweaking my Game Bar settings to max performance. I've also switched between Vulkan and DX11 API and even lowered the graphic settings, but nothing seems to help. What could be causing these FPS drops in Dota 2 after the upgrade?

Have you checked if your BIOS is up to date? Sometimes a BIOS update can resolve compatibility issues after a major OS upgrade. It's a good idea to make sure everything is running smoothly.
It sounds like you've done some solid troubleshooting already! Just to add, make sure to check your in-game settings and also disable any overlays like Discord or other apps that might be affecting performance. Sometimes those can cause frame rate drops too.
Great tip! I usually run with the Discord overlay on, so I'll try turning that off and see if it helps. Thanks!
I updated my BIOS when I installed Windows 10, and it was already up to date before upgrading to Windows 11. This issue seems specific to Dota 2 since other games are fine.
