Should I upgrade to the 7800X3D or 9800X3D for gaming?

Hey everyone! I'm looking for your recommendations on upgrading my CPU. Currently, I have a setup with a 5600G CPU, RX 7800 XT GPU, and 32 GB of RAM. I'm considering upgrading to either the 7800X3D or the newer 9800X3D, and I've ruled out the 5700X3D after seeing its price in Bulgaria (260 euros). Since I'm looking to play some pretty demanding CPU games like X4: Foundations and HoI4, I'm curious which choice would better complement my GPU. My budget is flexible, so I'm open to suggestions. Thanks for any advice you can give!

Are you gaming at 1440p with the 7800 XT? If so, going for the 7800X3D might feel like a waste of money. I'd suggest checking out the 5700X3D and holding off on the upgrade until AMD's next generation comes out. Just a thought!

Actually, I'm gaming on a 1080p 180Hz monitor, so I play at 1080p.

Honestly, if budget isn't an issue, just go for the 9800X3D. You won't regret getting the best option out there!
