Is a 750W Power Supply Sufficient for a New GPU?

I have a 750W MSI MAG A750GL power supply, and I'm considering upgrading my GPU to a Gigabyte 9070 XT. I currently have an Intel i9 13900K CPU (which I know isn't the best choice), and my motherboard is the MSI B760M Gaming Plus WiFi. I also have an AIO liquid cooler and some additional case fans. I'm trying to avoid spending around £100 on a new 850W power supply, so I'm wondering if my existing 750W PSU can handle the power demands of these components. I'm not planning to overclock anything and will primarily be using the PC for gaming. Any insights would be appreciated!

Your 750W PSU should be good enough! If you're not overclocking, you should be just fine. 😀

Have you thought about a version of the 9070 XT that only requires two 8-pin connectors? That could ease the power requirements a bit.

It might be cutting it close. The i9 13900K can draw over 300W, and the 9070 XT can draw quite a bit too. I'd suggest considering a higher wattage PSU just to be safe.

Does it help that in the BIOS it's limited to 253W?
