Help! My Screen Has a Black Area Covering the Taskbar

I'm having a frustrating issue where a large black area on my screen is preventing me from seeing the taskbar. I've tried a bunch of solutions to fix this black line, but nothing seems to work. I'm considering simply lifting my screen to see better, but I'm looking for advice on how to adjust my resolution or any other tips to get rid of it. This has been bothering me for weeks, and I can't afford to buy a new screen right now. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!

It sounds like there might be a problem with your display. Have you tried connecting your laptop to an external monitor or TV? If the black line doesn't show up there, it's likely an issue with your laptop's display. If it does appear on the external screen, then it might be your GPU that's acting up. Check those options and see if it helps!

Another thing to consider is adjusting your display settings. Right-click on your desktop, go to 'Display settings,' and see if you can change the resolution or scaling. Sometimes a quick tweak can sort out display anomalies like the one you're experiencing. Give that a shot!
