I've been having a frustrating problem with my Windows 11 installation where it becomes incredibly slow. Restarting doesn't help at all, but when I shut down the computer and unplug the power supply from the wall, everything goes back to normal. I've checked my SSD and files, and my antivirus says there's no malware. Could this be caused by a USB overload or something else? What should I look for in the event manager to help diagnose the slowdown?

It sounds like the fast boot feature might be the problem. If your PC loses power, it often ignores saving its fast boot state which can lead to these slowdowns. You should try restarting normally, then head to Task Manager. If you see the CPU uptime is higher than a few seconds, go to Control Panel > Power Options > choose what the power buttons do, and uncheck "turn on fast startup." You might also want to check if there's a similar setting in your BIOS.
Just a heads up, sometimes a standard shutdown doesn’t fully power down your system. Try checking the CPU section in Task Manager to see the power on time. What are your specs by the way?
