I'm looking for help retrieving footage from a SanDisk MicroSD card that's been acting up. I've used this card without issues before, but now I can't access the files. I've checked all the other cards I've used, and they work fine. The problem card shows up as a removable drive in my computer's drive management but without any letter or path assigned to it. I've tried cleaning the connections, changing drive letters, and refreshing the view as recommended, but nothing has worked. I'm worried the card might be corrupted because I have 8 hours of important footage on it. Any tips or recommendations for other places to seek advice would really help!

Unfortunately, SD cards can often be unreliable as long-term storage. It's generally a good idea to save your footage to more dependable drives after filming. Have you tried any recovery software? Some programs might help retrieve files from potentially corrupted cards. You could also consider taking the card to a professional data recovery service if the footage is crucial.
What recovery software would you recommend? I've heard about a few, but I'm not sure which ones work best.

Yeah, I think recovery software is worth a shot. Just make sure you don’t write anything new to the card, as that could overwrite your data.
