Looking for a UPS Beyond 1,000W—Do They Exist?

I'm on the hunt for a UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) that can handle my power supply unit rated at 1200W. Most recommendations I get seem to point towards server-grade units or ones that need some modifications for home use, which I'd prefer to avoid. I'm wondering if there are any simpler options out there that can support my needs without the hassle. Do such models exist, or am I just searching for something unrealistic?

Before worrying, ask yourself: does your PC really need that much power? Most consumer systems won’t pull near 1200W, even with a 1200W PSU. Typical gaming setups usually run much lower than that.

You don't have to match your PSU wattage with a UPS! For most setups, a UPS of 750VA or higher from brands like CyberPower or APC will be just fine. Those will give you enough time to save your game and shut down safely if the power goes out.

If you're still anxious about your power usage, it might be helpful to measure it under full load. You could use tools like a Kill A Watt meter to see your actual draw. Also, just a heads up, some UPS might beep or even shut down if you exceed their ratings.
