I'm trying to play a game, but it says I need at least driver version 30.0.101.1340. I'm curious if I can install that version or later for my Intel HD Graphics 520, assuming I find a download. Will it work, or am I stuck with my current setup?

Honestly, updating to that version might not be straightforward. When I tried, I ended up getting a message that said the driver was locked to the manufacturer. I had to check my laptop's site, and the most recent I could find was 30.0.100.9865 or 27.20.100.9416 for my model.
If you're using a desktop, considering a discrete GPU might be a good idea for better performance. However, since you mentioned it's a laptop, that option won't work for you right now.
You should definitely check online for the Intel HD Graphics 520 drivers. I found a link that had the latest available drivers; just search for "Intel HD Graphics 520 drivers" and you should see options pop up. The latest version I found was 31.0.101.2115, so that might be what you're looking for!
