I'm planning to build a budget AM5 setup with a Ryzen 7500F and a B580 motherboard. I'm trying to decide whether it's better to purchase one 16GB stick of RAM now and wait until the market stabilizes to buy a second one, or if I should just go ahead and buy two 8GB sticks right away. What do you think?

Honestly, waiting for RAM prices to drop might not be the best idea. Some folks think prices could stay high for a long while. If you're okay with just 16GB for now, going for one 16GB stick is a smarter long-term choice, especially if you plan to upgrade later.
If your motherboard lets you use four sticks, I'd recommend getting two 8GB now. It'll serve you well for most games, and down the line, you can always sell them off and get bigger sticks if needed.

Right? People keep suggesting two 8GB sticks, but in the long run, it can feel like a waste if you need to sell them to upgrade later.
