I accidentally spilled water on my iPad when my water bottle leaked in my bag. At first, it worked fine, but later I noticed some water stains on the bottom corner of the screen. After removing it from the case, I found water inside the case, and now there are lines on the screen and visible condensation when I turn it off. I'm wondering what my options are for repair and if Apple could fix this for free.

Unfortunately, water damage isn't covered by Apple's warranty. If you don’t have AppleCare, you could be looking at repair costs that aren't cheap. It might be time to consider whether you want to invest in a repair or just get a new iPad instead.
If you don’t have AppleCare, there’s really no way to get this repaired for free. Some users end up just buying a new iPad when faced with water damage like this. If you want to keep your current one, you could check with Apple about repair costs, but it can be pricey.
