I'm considering purchasing an RTX 5070 for my new PC build and have a budget of around $1200-1300. I already own a good monitor but I'm unsure if the RTX 5070 is the right choice for my budget. Can anyone share their thoughts on whether it's a good value?

Honestly, the 5070 is a great GPU, especially if you're gaming at 1440p or even 4K in some games. It really shines unless you're aiming for ultra settings with ray tracing, but in most scenarios, it should handle your games beautifully.

The value really depends on the pricing in your area. In some places, the price of the RTX 5070 has been very close to that of the 9070 XT, which is significantly better. If you find the prices are similar, I would definitely go with the 9070 XT instead.

If you’re primarily gaming at 1440p, the RTX 5070 is solid. But if you can snag a 9060 XT with 16GB at the same price, you might want to go with that instead. Just make sure you're comparing similar pricing on both cards!
