I'm planning a trip to Taiwan and Japan soon, and I'm curious if I can find better deals on PC components, particularly RAM and GPUs. If anyone has experience or tips on where to shop for these items in those countries, I'd love to hear it!

It really depends on what prices you're seeing back home. If they seem high where you live, it might not be much better abroad. But if you're flexible, take a look around! There could be savings to be found depending on your local rates.

From what I've seen, GPU prices in Japan were not that great last year, even with the Yen being undervalued. If you’re in the Tokyo area, maybe look beyond Akihabara for better options, but there's no guarantee.

Good to know! I’ve heard about some smaller shops having decent deals outside the main areas. Definitely worth checking out!

Check out Guang Hua Digital Plaza if you're in Taiwan. Just a heads up, though: language can be a barrier when bargaining. It's really beneficial to speak Mandarin to get the best prices. Also, consider shipping costs for larger items before buying.
