I'm looking to upgrade to an AM5 setup and I've found a potential deal for some Crucial DDR5 RAM. The seller has 16GB sticks available for €120 each and claims he has four in total. However, I've been cautious lately because I've run into a few scams while searching for a GPU online. The seller mentioned I can test the RAM in his setup before buying. So, I'm curious—how good is the Crucial DDR5 RAM at 6000MHz CL36? Also, what should I keep an eye out for when buying used RAM and how can I test it?

First off, make sure it’s actually DDR5 and not some DDR4 dressed up to look like DDR5 with different heat spreaders or stickers. You’d definitely want to test it, so check that it can pass memory tests. If it's too good to be true, be cautious! As for Crucial RAM, it’s generally reliable, but there are rumors about Micron phasing it out, which could affect prices down the line.
If he lets you check the RAM in his system, you’ll be in good shape. Just fire up Task Manager and look at the speed and capacity to ensure they match what he's selling. That being said, 6000 MHz CL36 is definitely solid RAM.
