Recommendations for Enterprise Shipping Software

I'm looking for recommendations on enterprise shipping software because our company is expanding rapidly and we've outgrown our current system. We now have five locations and are experiencing significant scaling issues. The main problem we're running into is the reliability of carrier integrations; we often see discrepancies between quoted shipping costs and what we actually get charged. Also, we face limitations with custom packaging since the system restricts us to predefined box sizes, forcing manual adjustments later, and that wastes time and money given our shipping volume.

Support has been a hassle as well. Simple issues require multiple tickets, and refund processes through carriers can take weeks. It feels like the support team is disconnected from the reality of using their platform at scale. Additionally, we've noticed features being moved to higher-tier plans without notice, making it tough to plan our budget and manage shipping across different locations.

Our current software was effective when we were smaller, but we need something designed for enterprise-level operations. Specifically, we're looking for solutions with reliable carrier integrations, better shipping profiles, responsive support, and effective management tools for multiple locations. Are there any sysadmins here managing shipping on this scale? What solutions are you using?

Just a heads up, this might not be the best place to ask. If you're looking for shipping software, it might make more sense to check out logistics-specific forums or just Google "enterprise shipping software". There are tons of resources out there you could explore.

I get your point, but a lot of sysadmins deal with logistics software too. It’s good to ask for advice here since you never know who might have some insights!

We switched to ReadyShipper as our enterprise shipping software after facing similar issues with ShipStation. ReadyShipper offers much better multi-location management, and the carrier integrations are reliable. Their support is also responsive, which is a big relief. If you're handling several locations, I think it's definitely worth checking out! Plus, their pricing scaled better for us than the constant tier jumps we experienced with ShipStation.

Thanks for the link! I just scheduled a demo with them. It sounds really promising.

Not trying to be rude, but wrong subreddit. For shipping logistics, you'd probably want to check out r/logistics instead. Just sayin'.

I think it’s fine to ask here—lots of sysadmins might have faced similar challenges, so you can find valuable input.
