Which PC Components Should I Upgrade for Better Gaming Performance?

Hey everyone! I'm considering upgrading my PC, but I'm not quite sure which components need an upgrade and what I should prioritize. My main thought is to upgrade the GPU since I just replaced my motherboard (the old one died), and at that time, I couldn't upgrade my CPU either. Now I'm trying to figure out what's worth upgrading. I mostly play AAA games and some online ones like Apex, Valorant, League of Legends, and Marvel Rivals, so any advice would be appreciated. I'm looking at a budget of up to 1000 euros since I live in Germany. Here's my current rig:

- CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X 3.7 GHz 6-Core
- MOBO: Asus ROG STRIX B550-F GAMING
- RAM: 32 GB DDR4-3600
- Storage: Various SSDs and HDDs
- GPU: Gigabyte GAMING OC GeForce RTX 3070
- Power Supply: Corsair RM750 (750 W)
- Monitor: Samsung Odyssey G7 27" 2560 x 1440 240 Hz

Any suggestions would be super helpful! Thanks in advance!

Upgrading your GPU would definitely boost your performance in AAA titles! A card like the 7800 XT could give you a noticeable upgrade since it has more VRAM than your current RTX 3070. However, if you’re playing games like CS2, Valorant, or League, you might also want to consider upgrading your CPU for a better experience in those games. Just keep in mind that it's a balancing act between the two, depending on where you spend most of your gaming time!

I've noticed League can be pretty finicky. I get similar FPS drops on my rig sometimes too, and it shouldn't be the case with decent specs. Maybe it's worth looking into optimizing your settings or even checking for any background processes that might be hogging resources.
