I'm trying to decide between two GPUs for my competitive gaming setup. The 7900 XTX Pulse is priced at $910 and the 9070 XT Pulse is available for $795. My main focus is on competitive games like Apex Legends and Marvel Rivals, where I want to achieve high FPS. While I do play some AAA titles, about 80% of my gaming time is dedicated to competitive games. I'm also pairing the GPU with an AMD 9800X3D. Given these details, which card do you think would be the better investment? Thanks in advance!

It really comes down to your priorities. If pure frame rates are your aim, then definitely go for the 7900 XTX. But if you're interested in great upscaling for games, the 9070 XT offers that advantage.
If you're looking for high FPS without relying on upscaling, the 7900 XTX would be the better choice. However, if you want better upscaling options for increased frame rates, the 9070 XT could be the way to go. Are you playing at 1440p? If you’re on 1080p, you might not even need anything more powerful than a 9700 non-XT, and at 4K, it’s a different ballgame altogether!
For 1440p gaming, which of the cards would you say is best? I saw that Marvel Rivals has upscalers, so with the 7900 XTX, I'd only get FSR 3, and I’ve noticed FSR 3 doesn’t perform as well as FSR 4.
Pure frame rates are definitely appealing, but what's on my mind is whether that $115 price difference is justified. Is the performance gap between the two GPUs significant enough to warrant spending that extra cash?
