Hey, I'm Morgan, and for my upcoming birthday in July, I'm hoping to build a gaming PC. My brother had his PC built recently and shared a site with me called microcenter.com, where I researched some parts. I want to ensure I've chosen the right components for building my PC. Here's what I'm planning to use:

- **CPU**: AMD Ryzen 9 9900X Granite Ridge AM5 4.40GHz 12-Core (No Heatsink)
- **Motherboard**: MSI X670E MAG Tomahawk WiFi AMD AM5 ATX
- **RAM**: G.Skill Flare X5 Series 32GB DDR5-6000 (2 x 16GB)
- **Graphics Card**: ASUS NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Dual 6GB
- **SSD**: Crucial P3 Plus 1TB NVMe M.2
- **Hard Drive**: Seagate BarraCuda 8TB
- **Case**: Lian Li Lancool 216 RGB ATX Mid-Tower
- **Power Supply**: Lian Li EDGE GOLD 850 Watt Fully Modular
- **Cooler**: Cooler Master Hyper 212 Halo Air Cooler

I'll also be getting my monitor, mouse, speakers, and headsets from Amazon. Do you think these parts will work well together?

What’s your budget? If you're planning on getting everything including peripherals, expect to be around $1500+ with taxes. Also, which games are you planning to play, and what's your display resolution?

I’m looking at a budget between $1,500 and $2,000. The games I want to play include Expedition 33, SWTOR, Baldur’s Gate 3, and others.

For gaming, it might be worth getting an R7-7700X bundle and investing more in a better GPU since the RTX 3050 is about eight years behind in performance. I’d also skip the hard drive altogether and consider upgrading to a larger NVMe SSD instead. Lastly, look into a modern CPU cooler instead of the Hyper 212—it’s outdated now!

I’d actually recommend swapping the Ryzen 9 9900X for a 9800X3D or even a 7800X3D if you can. They perform better in gaming. Also, try to get RAM with a lower CL like 6000 CL30 for better performance. Oh, and the RTX 3050 isn’t great—consider upgrading that too!

Thanks for the suggestions! Would the Gigabyte AMD Radeon RX 7600 be a solid upgrade over the 3050?
