Why Does My PC Only Boot With My Old 1080p Monitor?

Hey everyone! I'm having a bit of a weird issue with my PC and I'm hoping you can help. I have three monitors: an older 1080p monitor, a 1440p monitor I got later, and a new OLED monitor I just picked up. When I boot my PC with the 1080p connected, everything works fine, but if I try to use just the 1440p or the OLED as the primary monitor without the 1080p, my PC won't display anything—it's like it's not booting up at all. I noticed that the boot screen always shows on the 1080p first, even when I just want to use the newer monitors. Once it's booted, I can unplug the 1080p and everything is okay. I've tried switching cables, ports, and even resetting my CMOS, but the problem persists. Does anyone have any idea why this is happening or how I can fix it? Thanks in advance!

Have you checked if using a different power outlet helps? Sometimes power supply issues can cause weird display bugs during boot.

Can you share the specific models of your monitors? Also, are they all hooked up to your GPU or the motherboard? Making sure they're all connected properly can make a difference.

Try lowering the refresh rate on your 1080p to 60Hz while it's plugged in, then connect your other monitor and see what happens. Sometimes that can help with boot detection issues.
