I'm having a problem with my Lenovo IdeaPad 3i. It won't turn on properly. I've tried restarting it multiple times, but I only see the Lenovo loading screen followed by a black screen. The Windows startup sound plays, but then it just goes blank. I don't think it's a battery issue since it's off the charger, and it feels like the device is still running because it's heating up. Can anyone offer advice on what might be going wrong?

Have you tried connecting your laptop to an external monitor? It could be that the laptop display is malfunctioning, but the computer might still be working fine. I suggest giving that a shot and see if it boots up normally there!
Glad to hear plugging into a TV worked! It does sound like an issue with the laptop's display rather than it not functioning at all. Sometimes, the laptop screen might get disconnected. You might want to check the display settings once you’re able to log in on the external screen and see if it’s set to the correct display output.
If it's working on an external display, you might need to get the laptop screen checked out. It could be a problem with the screen itself or the connection to the motherboard. It’s worth looking into if the issue persists.
