Help with LibreOffice on Linux Mint

I just installed Linux Mint yesterday, but I'm having trouble using any LibreOffice tools. When I try to open them, they just don't respond. I've also downloaded the Brave browser and YouTube, but I'm wondering what else I can do to set up my system. Here are my specs: I have 8GB of DDR3 RAM, an Intel Pentium G2020 CPU at 2.90GHz, a 32MB Intel HD graphics card, 238GB of storage, and I'm running a 64-bit version of Windows 10 Pro. I'm using the Mint Cinnamon desktop environment. Any help would be appreciated!

Have you tried using the terminal to open LibreOffice? Just type `lowriter` and see if it launches. If there are errors, they should show up in the terminal.

I tried both the menu and the terminal, but it just loads and says 'not responding'!
