Hey everyone! I updated to Windows 11 yesterday and now my keyboard and mouse aren't functioning at all. They do work in the BIOS, though. I've attempted going into safe mode and even tried booting from a USB for troubleshooting, but nothing seems to solve the issue. Do I really need to reinstall Windows, or is there a possible fix? Thank you for your help!

Just a heads up, stuffing around with BIOS settings or disk setups can sometimes mess things up further. Always make sure you back up important data first before making any major changes. If all else fails, you might consider a reinstall.
It’s a good sign they work in BIOS, so it might not be a hardware issue. Have you thought about rolling back the update? Sometimes recent updates can bring unexpected compatibility problems.
Have you tried plugging your keyboard and mouse into different USB ports? Sometimes switching them around can help, especially during the boot-up sequence. Reboot your PC after switching them out and see if that makes a difference.
