My Asus laptop is currently stuck in an endless recovery mode, and I need to reinstall Windows. I don't have a flash drive and I'm not inclined to purchase one. However, I do have access to another laptop. Can anyone provide some advice on how I can perform a reinstall in this situation?

You could burn a Windows installation DVD if you have a DVD writer. It's a great option if you're without a flash drive and you can use another laptop to create it.
Yup, that's definitely the way to go!
Another method is to hold the Shift key while restarting. This will bring you to the troubleshooting menu. From there, you can select 'troubleshoot' and choose to factory reset your laptop. Just keep in mind that this method can sometimes cause issues, so a clean install is usually the safer bet.
Yeah, I heard that factory resets can be problematic. Clean installs seem to work much better!

That's something I completely forgot was even possible!
