Is the AMD Ryzen 7 5800X a Good Upgrade?

I'm currently using an RTX 4070 Super with a Ryzen 7 2700X and an ASrock X470 Taichi motherboard. I've heard a lot about the 5700X3D being the best option for the AM4 platform, but it's quite expensive and out of production. I found the Ryzen 7 5800X priced at 200 euros and I'm considering it as an upgrade. What do you all think is the best option between these CPUs?

You can't go wrong with either the 5700X or the 5800X, but since the 5700X is usually pricier right now, go for the 5800X if you find it cheap. It'll still give you great performance!

Yeah, the 5800X seems like a solid choice, especially if you can get it under 200 euros. You won't regret it!

The 5800X is still a fantastic CPU. I bought one for my girlfriend's setup, and it runs flawlessly. If you can catch it at a good price, definitely grab it!

I've been using a 5800X with a RTX 7600XT and it’s been fantastic. It's only GPU limited in some cases, but overall, I have no complaints! You'll be happy with it.

Totally agree! And if you enable Precision Boost Overdrive, you can squeeze out an extra 5-10% performance!
