I'm considering a PC build that balances low power consumption with solid performance. My budget is under $1600. Here's what I have in mind:
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 9600X
- Motherboard: MSI PRO B850M-A WIFI AM5
- Memory: G.SKILL Flare X5 32GB
- Graphics Card: MSI Ventus GeForce RTX 3050
- Power Supply: MSI MAG A750GL
- CPU Cooler: be quiet! DARK ROCK 5
What do you all think about this combination?

I really wouldn't recommend pairing that GPU with the 9600X. The RTX 3050 is going to bottleneck the performance so much that you won't be getting the full potential out of your CPU.
Just to clarify, is your budget of $1600 in USD?
Your build looks decent overall, but the GPU needs an upgrade. Try to at least get a 7600 or a 9060XT. They can be found for around $400, and even if it means sacrificing some RAM, it'll be worth it for better gaming performance.
The 3050 isn't that great of a GPU; I really suggest you go with the 5060 instead for better performance.
If you're mainly playing indie games, the 3050 could work; however, I suggest looking into a better GPU like the RTX 5060 if you can swing it. It's more future-proof and has better specs overall.
The RTX 3050 does okay for 1080p games, but it'll definitely struggle with 1440p. Down the line, you may have to lower settings significantly. Look into the 9060XT or possibly a 5060 - they would be solid upgrades.
