Why Won’t My Asus Aorus Z790 Motherboard Power On?

I'm having trouble getting my new build with an Asus Aorus Z790 motherboard to turn on. Here are the specs:
- Intel Core i7-12700K (12th Gen Alder Lake)
- 64GB DDR5 RAM (2x32GB)
- Corsair RM750e power supply
- 1TB M.2 SSD

I've connected the power supply as follows:
- A 2x12 connector from the PSU to the motherboard
- Two 2x4 connectors from the PSU to the 12V area on the top left of the motherboard
- I've also hooked up the front panel connections (PWR LED +/-, PWR SW).

The power button does nothing when I press it. I've included pictures for reference [here](https://imgur.com/a/LYHFMl3). Any thoughts on what might be causing this?

It sounds like you might have missed connecting a part of your motherboard power cable. Usually, there's a 2x5 pin connector that plugs right next to the 2x12 connector on the PSU side. Make sure your power supply is also switched on!

My PSU only has two 2x4 cables for the 12V connectors on the board, and the other side only has a space for a 2x5. I don't have any 2x5 cables left over, just a couple others that won't fit. Any advice?
