Is My Be Quiet! Power Supply Enough for My Setup?

I have an AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D and a Zotac GAMING Trinity GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER. I'm using a be quiet! Pure Power 12 M 750 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX power supply. I know that a minimum of 850W is usually recommended, but my PSU is still fairly new. Do you think my current setup can run with this PSU, or should I consider upgrading?

If you're using the 7800X3D and the 4070 Ti, a 750W PSU might just cut it if you're running them at stock settings. Some folks have even managed to get away with a good quality 650W if they undervolt the GPU. Just keep an eye on your temperatures and power draw to be safe.

Yeah! With proper cooling and monitoring, you might be fine. Just make sure your system isn’t pulling too much power under load.

I have the same 7800X3D paired with a TUF 4090, using a Corsair RM850X, and I’ve had zero issues. It might be worth considering another PSU if you plan to push the limits of your setup though! What PSU are you planning to upgrade to?

I'm sticking with the be quiet! Pure Power 12 M 750 W for now since it's still pretty new.

You should definitely factor in your overall system load. 750W typically works but if you're planning on any upgrades or overclocking, it’s safer to have that higher wattage. Plus, it might be better for future-proofing your setup!

Exactly! Better safe than sorry, especially with power-related issues.
