Do You See Any Major Issues with My PC Parts List?

I put together a parts list for a new PC build, and I'm looking for feedback. I'm having a bit of trouble finding the right GPU because the one I want has dual fans, but it seems to fit within the size requirements. Also, I noticed that I'll need a 3.5 to 2.5 adapter. Ideally, I want to keep my budget under $1,000 and I'm just aiming for a compact setup mainly for playing games up until Skyrim. Here's the parts list: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/cPFFfp. Also, here's a link to the specific GPU I'm considering: https://www.newegg.com/asrock-phantom-gaming-d-rx6500xt-pgd-4go-radeon-rx-6500-xt-4gb-graphics-card-double-fans/p/N82E16814930067?item=9SIC3U3KPZ3567

Honestly, there are some significant concerns with your list. If you're aiming for a sub-$1,000 build, let me know specifically what you're looking to tweak or improve. For gaming up to Skyrim, you might want to consider a few components carefully. For instance, the GPU you’re looking at is not worth the price right now, and I have some suggestions that could give you better performance without breaking the bank. I'd recommend looking at more recent options, especially in terms of the GPU.

Could you share what you think is wrong with the current GPU? I'm curious to see what alternatives could work better for my budget.
