Is 57C Idle Temperature Normal for My RX 9070 XT?

Hey folks! I'm currently using a Gigabyte RX 9070 XT OC version, and I've noticed that my idle temperature sits at 57C, with the GPU hotspot temp at 59C. I can't help but feel like this is a bit high, especially since I've seen other people reporting idle temps below 30C. Is this something I should be worried about? Thanks for your input!

Yeah, that's definitely on the higher side for idle temps. I have a RX 6800, and it doesn't get that warm at idle. Make sure your fans are oriented correctly and that your PC isn’t stuck in a closed-off cabinet. That could really affect temperatures!

That doesn't sound normal at all! My system idles around 60C under load, but I’m in a warmer climate. It just might be that your chip needs a bit more cooling to really perform well. Also, check if you're running multiple monitors, as both can increase idle temps.

It’s interesting how AMD cards handle cooling. They typically won't engage the fans below a certain temp, which might be around 55C. My 6800XT idles around 57C too, but if you want to lower those temps, you could manually increase the fan speed.
